Training and Development
Srinivas started his career with the Indian Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller (Flight Lieutenant) in 1994 and upon completion of a six year contract, chose to transition to a career in Training and Development. He joined as the head the Training & Development department at Vision Healthsource in 2001 that became part of Perot Systems in 2003 and later part of Dell Services in 2009. Srinivas is responsible for providing training for associates in Business Process Solutions unit with offices in Chennai, Coimbatore and Manila.
The Air Force experience provided a strong foundation in Administration, Operations, People management, welfare activities, Training and Presentation skills. The experience in Business Process Solutions opened up new horizons in creating and administering a robust Training organization that would take on continuous needs in the BPO industry. Besides core training activities, Srinivas is also involved in large employee engagement initiatives, mainly Sports and games & Fun Activities.
Srinivas has been associated with ISABS since May 2007, summer event that provided the opportunity to attend BLHP. He is now part of the ODCP 2 batch that commenced in Dec 2008.
The journey with ISABS has put Srinivas on a path of both personal and professional discovery - an aspect otherwise dormant over the last decade. The transformation from a closed individual to an open-minded human is akin to shift from someone with a basic Training mindset to an OD approach.
On the personal front, he has two daughters and is married to Radha. Besides appreciating Indian Classical Music & the 70s Movie albums, Srinivas is a keen artist & is a regular at Sports and Games.
