ODCP 3rd Batch Commences May 2010. Nomination From Feb 2010

About ODCP

ODCP is a rigorous journey of 18 months phased out in intervals of a quarter of an year, covering an exhaustive syllabus of theory, OD models and case studies. The participant must be present in all the learning modules that takes them away for 50 days from their job roles.

When the participant completes all the requirements of the programme curriculum he/she has to submit the supporting documentation of the journey through the different learning modules. They are assessed by a team of external examiners. Who are drawn from premier management Institutions and leading OD consultants and practicing OD executives in India and abroad. The programme leads to acquire competence in diagnostic skills and competence to design intervention for change and development.
 

Based on career choice, confidence levels and opportunities available in India and abroad they can either :

  • Launch their independent practice as an OD consultant who can facilitate the Top management in Strategic decisions and spell out a road map for a comprehensive well integrated multi disciplinary action plan for change (or)
  • Take on the role of internal OD consultant who can -
    • Offer process observation to management processes.
    • Facilitate crucial decision making meetings and resolve conflict ,
    • Diagnose the contextual issues affecting the organization,
    • Design appropriate intervention to lead and manage change,
    • Be mentor to middle management for better alignment to business goals,
    • Increase the payoff of HRD initiatives like assessment centers and team building activities.

The learning approach has a mix of class room learning, case study analysis, instrument design and diagnosing models. The hands on project is compulsory and the diagnostic report has to be endorsed by the client . Online discussion to exchange insights and clarify doubts will create a learning partnership among participants and faculty. Adequate shadow consulting and mentoring will be offered by the Project Director and core faculty in each region.


The admissions for each batch starts in March and closes in end April every year. ODCP is just open and those interested can log on through the nomination form.
