| The Indian Society for
Applied Behavioural Sciences [ISABS] is a non for profit
professional body of T group trainers, OD and change
facilitation experts, Designers of assessment instrument
for talent and attitudes as well as those trained in the
administration of MBTI, NLP, LSIP, OST, Belbin, 16 PF ,
Fifth discipline and other psychological profiling
instruments. All the members of ISABS value experiential
learning and their own feelings and self as an
instrument of change and empowerment. Their experiences
can be in natural settings of society, organizations and
family groups or in simulates settings. The primary task
of ISABS is the analysis of human processes generated or
aperating in various settings and uses the analysis of
individual patterns and group processes for enhancing
the effectiveness of the groups and the Organisations
and also generating new choices for the individuals. The
mission of the society is to promote research and
development of all branches of Behaviour sciences in
India.

| ISABS engages through its
members volunteering spirit Regional events at low cost
in various parts of India. Occasionally special Labs to
explore new fields of human experiences like diversity,
creativity, power and authority, positive psychology are
also offered. Members connect and institutional building
of ISABS is regular features to self renew the members
and update them of latest in the field. The main annual
events are the summer and winter events where the
membership is from all over India and abroad. These
events focus on the ‘laboratory’ method for personal
growth and group development as well as develop trainers
to facilitate Labs. These events are held in May and
December each year. |

| Conducting and
collaborating in International and National seminars in
OD and Behaviour sciences like the Global OD Summit of
2006 is becoming an extended activity to reach out to
other Organisations about the merits of Behaviour
science and OD. |
| Since 2007 ISABS have
launched two certification programme for OD consultants
to the Corporate sector and Change facilitators to the
Social sector. |
